Chapter 7

“I will be back at her place at the break of dawn,” Eros confirmed, staring off into the darkness as he pondered on how he would behave the next time he saw Aria.

“I have to go now, son,” Aphrodite announced. “Zeus has called a meeting for the umpteenth time, and I’m guessing it’s about something insignificant this time around.”

“I’ll speak with you later,” Eros replied before the call ended.

He glanced at his watch. It was past midnight already. He had spent the past three hours up here, and he didn’t mind staying here until he had to go back to Aria’s apartment.

He didn’t know how she would respond to him this time around after she slammed the door in his face, but he was hoping that he wouldn’t have to resort to using his powers.

He could hear the nightclub and the loud noise emanating from it, and he was drawn to it. Maybe he would be able to forget about his worries and everything concerning Aria for the next couple of hours before he lost his mind
