When Keith returned to the mansion, it was late at night. And something was off. Everywhere was calm.
It wasn’t that he didn’t appreciate the calmness. Hades, he was the personification of sleep. He loved anything that was associated with sleep as much as he loved to sleep. However, in the past few days, he’d had a certain presence that constantly disrupted the aura of calmness he often exuded.
That presence had certain red hair, crazy green eyes, and a body that had to be carved by Aphrodite herself.
“Ah, right,” he muttered as he walked through the hallway. “Aphrodite and Eros were always up to no good. Perhaps they had shot with an arrow that made him mad over the crazy harridan in his room.”
But if they had, then he would have searched for Cassandra Wilson instead. She wouldn’t have approached him first. Unless they had shot the arrow after he made a deal with her.
