Chapter 171. Changing Weather

Red, Aamon, and Anneth decided to go down the seemingly endless stairs while Fiona and the other participants waited for them. The light from their bracelets didn't help much, but Red could see where the pole ended.

The three of them jumped down the metal stairs into the main hall of the lab, which had a solid glass ceiling. The snow covering the roof looked dark, almost like the night sky.

In the center of the room stood a device connected to a machine currently running. Red exchanged a glance with Aamon—the weather control device was there. It was about eighty centimeters tall, long, and metallic in appearance.

"So we just pull this thing out, and it's over?" Red asked.

When Red looked at Anneth, the man shook his head. "Don't ask me. We just have to find the weather control device, right?"
