Chapter 81. FIrst Training

The holographic screen in front of Aamon instantly changed to a line of text, and Tennessine's face disappeared. Aamon turned to see Red and Ursula standing behind him, smiling.

"Good morning," Red greeted.

Startled, Aamon nodded only briefly. He didn't even notice Red's arrival, though he should have heard Ursula's footsteps. Aamon hurried ahead of Red. He headed for the woods outside After Domini's north gate. Seeing Aamon's indifference, Red said nothing more and followed the young man.

After almost thirty minutes, they finally reached a field near the forest. It was where Red and Aamon first spoke when the young man slaughtered the people who tried to steal Ursula. Aamon paused there, then turned around. Red suddenly felt terrible; she just stared at Aamon intently.

"We train here," Aamon said.

"Here?"

"Is there a problem?"

Red was silent for a moment. "Back in this place-"
