Chapter 56. Punch

Emery’s POV

I woke up smelling a nice aroma of meat. I slowly sat on the bed and roamed my eyes around while caressing my back. I still feel so sleepy and tired. My body is sore and my legs are still shaking but the scent of the meat forced me to open my eyes and made my stomach grumble. Argh! Who the hell is cooking?

I opened my eyes and noticed that I’m wearing different clothes. It’s a white button down shirt that covers my naked body until the half of my legs.

A smirk curved on my lips as I remembered the steamy night I shared with Terrence. The gentleness of his eyes while his touch was aggressive. The softness of his voice while his lips were hungry. I couldn’t take them off of my mind. I feel like I’d need a great distraction to get this off my head or I’ll get crazy.
