Chapter 172. Overpriced Ubers
I stared at the phone, thinking of what to do. Should I answer, or should I just ignore it? I needed to do something, I could not just stand there, frozen. As I continued to stand there, one of the suitcases fell, the noise jolting me out of my state of being a statue.
I glanced at it before looking back at the phone and answering. “Hello?” I spoke, my voice sounded so strange. It sounded off and not like myself.
