Chapter 174. Mr. Russo

This time, the ride was not quiet. I asked the driver to play some music. He was intrigued about my choice of music but I did not care. I had asked him to play rock music. And just like I expected, it helped. 

When I arrived at the law firm, I paid the guy and got out. With my bag on my shoulder, I headed into the huge building. The lobby seemed busy and I had to wait a few minutes before it was my turn to go up to the front desk. 

When I reached there, the lady locked eyes with me and flashed me a polite smile. “How may I help you today?” 

“I’m here to see Mr. Russo.” 

“Mike Russo?” 

I nodded. Were there two Russos here? I wanted to ask but I kept my question to myself. I watched her type on her computer and then she lifted her face after a few seconds and said, “I’m sorry but he’s not free. He’s fully booked for the day.” 

“No, you don’t understand. This is important. I need to see him today.” 

She smiled sadly.
