Chapter 185. Not Enough Time

I blinked rapidly for a few seconds as my heart skipped a beat. Was I hallucinating? Was this real? I stood there, frozen in the doorway as I stared at him. Mark. 

The last person I expected to see standing outside my house, and yet, here he was. His face looked worn, his eyes darker than I remembered, and his hair disheveled, as though he had not slept in days.
