Chapter 208. Officer, Officer

I heard the front door open and close but I was already in the bedroom. I closed the door and locked it. 

I needed to be alone right now, and it was not like Mark was yes to be near me right now anyway. He still believed that I had cheated on him. 

The room was a mess and it made me overstimulated so I knew I had to do something about it.

A nagging headache wrapped around my head as I started to pick up the clothes that were scattered all around the place. 

After dealing with the clothes and having them packed, the next thing I did was make the bed and straightened the rest of the room. 

When I was done, I headed to the bathroom and took a quick hot shower. After I was done, I felt much better.

But I could not push the anxiety away. What if the security cameras didn’t catch what happened? What if the angle was not good enough?

I also hated that the video that was Mark’s known got erased, it made me think that Josh was two steps
