Chapter 25. Morning Routine

It was a new day and the sun was up already. My alarm blared and I knew that it was time to wake up. I yawed and reached for it, making sure to turn it off, already annoyed at the loud ringing. 

Next, I dragged my body from the bed and sighed, running my hand through my messy morning hair. It had been a week since I had taken a step back from the CEO, and since then, I had felt much safer. 

I did not get any new visits from the blonde lady and I was in no way hoping for that. I liked being safe, I liked not having to worry whether someone was in my car every time I entered it. I liked not having to look over my shoulder and not being paranoid. 

But what I did not like was the pit in my stomach that made me feel like I was going to throw up every time I thought about Bradley. I did not understand how someone who had just come into my life had now taken over my entire mind. 

I missed him. I usually saw him in the halls at work or sometimes, outside
