“I told you that I would handle her, right?”
“Well, you told me that about a week ago, have you done that?” I raised an eyebrow and waited for his response as I folded my arms on my chest.
Bradley ran his hand through his hair. “I would have, I really would have, but then you were very much ready to walk out of my life, Lisa. We have this connection, I can feel it so strongly, especially when I’m with you but I can’t understand how you can not feel it.”
Connection or not, I was not ready to risk my life and my family. “Listen, Bradley, if you want us to get this done; if you really want to build this contract and sign Jessica Pearson, then we need to take care of the blonde lady first. She’s dangerous and I can’t keep finding ways to upset her.”
