Chapter 283. It's Done!

By the time I got back to the meeting, it was already over and there was not much that I could do. It was not like it was going to be a meeting that was supposed to be long. It was just for formality, actually. 

I stood by the glass door and watched everyone walk out of the conference room. When Bradley walked past me, he acted as if he did not even know me. But as for Mike, of course, he was going to say something, that was just expected of him. 

“You did good, Lisa. But that’s not all, you can do more. Now that we have Eternity Limited back, that is a great step but know that you can still do much more.” He gave me a tight smile and then walked away. 

He had just basically asked me to betray Josh one more time as if when I did it, it wasn’t enough.
