Chapter 286. Dating Myself

Before he could say a word, he was saved by the opening of the door behind him. It was Josh walking in. When he saw the scene, the expression of intrigue and concern changed into shock and fear. 

“Oh my god, what happened?” He rushed to us. I was covered in blood and he first of all helped me out of the way. “Are you okay? What happened?” 

“My dad attacked him, I think he got shoved into a rage fit because they were arguing. You know, he’s just like us now and I’m guessing that he could not control it,” I tried my best to explain, even though I felt like I did not know much about what had happened. 

But that was as much as I could understand. 

“Sh*t,” Josh cursed under his breath. “You see why we need the cure?” 

“Yeah, yeah, but can we please help him, Josh? He’s dying.” 

“Did anyone call an ambulance?” Josh got on his knees and checked for a pulse. He nodded as a way to tell us that Mark was still alive.
