Chapter 291. Arrested

I looked at Josh in disbelief. This had to be a joke, it just had to be. “Josh…stop this.” 

“Lisa, I’m not joking. I came clean. I told them everything. It was Mike that helped me. I called him and had told him that I was ready to come clean. He helped me and I told them it all. I told them about my father, about the therapist, about my ex-girlfriend, about Aniston Limited, and even about Daniel.” 

Tears fell from my eyes and that was when I realized that I was crying. I scoffed and shook my head, still not believing any of this. “This is so wrong.” I continued to shake my head. “Please tell me that you’re joking. Please laugh in my face and tell me you’re pulling my leg. Please…” 

It was now his turn to shake his head. “No. I’m sorry, Lisa, but I’m not. I trust that you will take care of it all, will you? You already signed the papers. But especially the cure, I need you to take extra care of it all for me. And if you want to use it, you can.” He smiled.&n
