I was choked that he actually had the guts to yell at me. My heart was thumping and I could feel the adrenaline coursing through my veins already. “Look at me,” I said as I took a step closer to him. 

He was annoyed and was breathing deeply as I looked directly into his eyes. “Lisa, I’m not here for jokes. I’m being as serious as I can be.” He frowned.
