Chapter 17

It had been a week. True to his word, Harry had left me alone. I hadn’t had to avoid him. He had taken his distances. And it was kind of creepy that every time he saw me, he smiled. It wasn’t the ‘hey love, I miss you’ kind of smile. Nope. It was the ‘damn, I can’t wait to fuck you up.’ Don’t ask me how I knew the difference. I just did.

I was currently in front of the office building. I was going toward the bus stop cause I still hadn’t bought a car. I had actually avoided Harry cause I knew he was going to insist on taking me home. I didn’t want that right now.

I missed him. I missed those eyes of his, especially when he turned them on me. I missed his stupid accent when he called me little flower and smirked because he knew it kind of irked me. I even missed him calling me little flower, and I missed that stupidly charming accent of his. I missed his warm hugs and his comforting scent.
