“Hey, honey. I…” Kenna started but was immediately cut off by Diego.”

“That wasn’t what I asked you. Kenna. What were you doing at the hospital?” Diego repeated the question.

I looked in between the two of them, wondering where the conversation is headed. To be sincere, it’s not because I care. I never meddle in their business. Even when they have a tough fight, they always find some way to settle. I just want them to finish whatever they are arguing about so I can make my thoughts known to them.

“I went to get my birth control inserted.” Kenna finally answered.

“Really? Behind my back? Are you that bent on not having my child?” Diego snapped, walking down the last stair.
