DAHLIA

I can’t believe I told Sebastian that I love him. What was I thinking? Sure, I know that I do care about him more than I should, but I seem to have forgotten why I am here in the first place.

My goal is to save up money for my mum’s bills, help her set up, and become comfortable…not date my boss.

“I need to get my head back in the game,” I mutter to myself, turning away from the car park and toward the building. I am about to reach the gates when another car pulls up rather too close to me, and when I stop, the car also halts. Soon after, a man opens the door, dressed in what looks like an expensive Armani suit with a peach fabric tucked into his side pocket.

The man, all too familiar, is smiling at me as he walks away from the surprisingly luxurious car towards me.

“Mr. Flynn? What are you doing here? By this time, too?”
