I wake up to the sound of laughter and chattering as I turn and shift under the blanket. Fluttering my eyes open, I look around the room in slight confusion before I remember what happened the night before.

I pull myself from the bed unwillingly, dragging my feet to the bathroom before I realize that I’m not in the same dress I slept in. I was too tired to have a shower before bed, and the dress was too pretty, so I didn’t remove it.
