Chapter 90
DAHLIA
I stayed downstairs after my embarrassing tongue slip, hoping the ground would open up and swallow me whole. Naked men? Really, Dahlia? Of all the things to say.
By the time Sebastian came down—fully dressed, hair neatly styled, shirt perfectly fitted—I was already pretending to scroll through my phone. It didn’t help. If anything, seeing him like that made it worse. He looked sinfully handsome, the kind of man that made your heart forget how to beat properly.
Stop it, Dahlia. Stop sexualizing your boss. Why is this even happening? I saw him quite often before. Was it because I just saw him half naked? It’s got to be.
I cleared my throat and focused on my coffee cup like it was suddenly fascinating.
Kenna appeared from the kitchen just then, a cookie still in hand. “Breakfast is ready. You eating with us, Seb?”
He glanced her way, then at me. “Yeah, I’ll eat.”
Before he could move, I jumped up… too quickly, again. “I’ll get it.”
