Chapter 11

"DERRICK?!!" I exclaimed as he walked in.

Derrick turned to Grifo, saying, "it's nice to finally meet you in person, Qyupid Tyson."

Grifo got off the wall he had been relaxing on, "who the heck are you? How do you know my name?" he asked with suspicion in his tone. 

"Grifo, meet Derrick Drive," my commander said, as he stood up from where he sat. "For the last six years, we have been working together to figure out the cause of our current predicament, the apocalypse." He continued.

"Why haven't I ever heard of him?" Grifo asked with a silent tone and Commander Michael replied,

"That's because he has been working secretly under our military base. It has been just the two of us. Well, until now that is." After my commander finished explaining this to Grifo, he turned to me. I still had a shocked expression on my face as I stared at Derrick.
