Chapter 22
Hareth had already walked out of the building. I, Captain Gregory, and Grifo stood side by side waiting for Daimon to attack again.
"I thought reuniting with Daimon would be much less of a hassle than this," Grifo said as he tightened his fist in a battle stance.
I also clenched my fist in front of my face and replied, "... Can't believe he's working for that little brat."
"Maybe he isn't..." Gregory contradicted; I and Grifo turned to him and asked,
"what do you mean?"
Gregory peered through the holes Daimon's body had created and said, "Remember what Audrey said, he's probably just being mind-controlled like the rest of Hareth's organisation."
I smiled, gave out a sigh of relief, and said, "Well... In that case, we better snap him back to his senses before he does something he'll regret and we all suffer from."
"Right!" Grifo agreed.
The ground started shaking all of a sudden; Daimon's voice suddenly sounded loud
