Chapter 34

“What? What are you talking about?” David exclaimed with a shocked expression on his face. The look in his father's eyes was intense and his heart beat rapidly in anticipation of what he would say next.

“I'm sorry David, but to protect everyone, I will have to lock you up in one of the rooms and place magical seals to prevent you from getting out,” Terran said with a stern look. 

David stared directly at his father's eyes and knew he wasn't joking. A drop of sweat rolled down the right side of his face. He closed his eyes and clenched his teeth tightly. “Alright, it's okay. As long as it's to protect everyone, I'll gladly accept these terms,” David said.

“Good then, I and Derrick will prepare the room. You'll have a TV, a comfortable bed, and air conditioning. You'll also have your toilet, and food will be teleported to your room when you need it,” Terran said.

“Talk about royal treatment,” Derrick said with a smile as one of his eyebrows raised.
