Chapter 42

A large orange portal suddenly opened above Terran’s house and one by one, the entire family dropped into his front yard, each landing with a loud thud.

“Oww, couldn’t the little brat have opened a horizontal portal on the ground?” David said as he got back on his feet, scratching his head. Terran and the others also stood up from the ground, wiping the dust off their clothes.

‘The important thing is that we’re back home,” Terran said as he turned to face his front door. 

“Are we though?” Derrick asked, turning to Veronica. She looked around the place for a couple of seconds, then nodded saying, “Yes, we’re back to the real world. Although, I’m still a little drained from David sucking up all my energy. But a little rest should fix that.”
