Chapter 35

Terran sat on the roof of his house at night, receiving some fresh air, everything that had happened the day before replaying in his head like a recording.

Even though it was for a short time, he finally got to see his wife again, and even though it was a dream, it felt completely real. Terran stared at twinkling lights in the sky and thought to himself, “Maybe, I didn't completely lose you Nebula, maybe you're still here with me, somehow…”

“Hey, what are you doing?” Agneses' voice suddenly sounded from his left side. 

Terran turned his face to her direction. “Hi. I just came to get some fresh air,” he replied.

“Yeah, same here. This place has a great view of the city too, the lights are really beautiful,” Agnese said with a smile, staring down at the city.

“I guess so, everyone's just happy living their lives normally without a worry in the world. If they only knew what was coming…” Terran said softly.

They both remained quiet for a moment.
