“There's no way to get back now, the Bermuda thingy is probably gone,” Veronica said, getting back on her feet. 

Rowlis remained silent, her eyes darting around like she had noticed something. 

Suddenly, sparks started to fly around her.

“What's… going on?” Veronica asked looking a little puzzled.

Rowlis suddenly vanished, an after image of her forming along a path behind Veronica.

“Where is she going?” Veronica asked and in an instant Rowlis appeared again with David in her arms.

“David, what are you doing here?” Veronica asked, a look of surprise growing on her face.

David opened his eyes slowly. “I'm.. Alive? Oh man, I thought I was gonna bite the dust there,” David said, letting out a sigh of relief. He jumped off Rowlises' arms and turned to Veronica.

He quickly wrapped his arms around her, yelling, “Thanks goodness you're okay, I was so worried about you.” As he let go of her, he turned to Rowlis.
