“Maybe we should just retrace our steps and try to go back to the island. Maybe Thunderbird knows how we can all go home,” she suggested.
Now Ryan was suddenly alert. “What do you mean?” He asked. “We can’t go home, Julie. We have to find Olozar. You have to fight him. We have to stop him from taking over Earth.”
“But we’re just kids!” She said a little too loudly. Thunderbird turned toward them and called out from the kitchen.
“Everything all right in there?” He asked them. “Dinner’s almost ready. I’ll bring the soup and sandwiches over there in a minute.”
“We’re fine,” Ryan said. “She’s just still a little overly emotional after everything from today,” Ryan tried to explain to Thunderbird. Thunderbird nodded and turned back to his task of preparing their dinner.
“Julie,” Ryan whispered urgently, “We’ve come too far to turn back now.
