Alpha Dargan’s POV

For the first time in years since my curse I learned how to feel something, something other than lust and the mania for blood.

The past twenty five minutes the guards weren’t back and when I gave up ready to mindlink the guards to cancel the search for her. I was a fool to let Lilith manipulate me again after what she caused- Lilith had dusted herself off the floor minutes ago and healed her knee.

The door burst open with Anabelle leading the way as the guards followed behind her at a respectable distance. They were lucky not to manhandle her else I would have destroyed their skulls.

“Greetings Alpha king you sent for me.” she says formally with a slight bow before staring at me eyeballs to eyeballs without flinching.
