Scarlet was grateful to Sebastian for buying her sandwiches and taking her back home, but as soon as they got home, he started to treat her differently. He was no longer formal around her, and it seemed as if he planned to make her life a living hell inside his home.

At that moment, she wished she was truly a witch then she would cast a spell on him so he would fall on his face. She had asked nicely about the revised contract so he didn’t have to be sarcastic. Exasperated, she followed him and closed the door behind her.

“I know you're tired, but we should draft the agreement now," she ordered, prioritizing their contract because the man was moody, unpredictable, and sarcastic most of the time.

"It has to wait until tomorrow, Scarlet. I'm tired, and I'm not sure if my brain would still function well after what happened,” he responded.
