Chapter 13

The office address was on the card, and I went to Louis' company. I didn't know the building was a bit huge. I expected a one-floor agency, but I didn't realize it was the whole 5-level building. The first floor includes a bookstore café, a proper bookshop, a food court, and a reception area.

I asked one of the clerks, and I gave them my name. "Mr. Wyatt told me to meet him today."

The clerk with the same name as Lisa called someone on the phone, and a few moments later, she hung up. "You may proceed to the fourth floor."

"Ok. But, uh, where exactly on the fourth floor?"

"You can wait at the secretary's desk, and they will assist you to his office."

"Thank you." I took the right elevator since the other one was full.

A few employees in the elevator talked about their own businesses. It looks like they were managing authors since they kept talking about how stressful it gets to k
