The next day, Louis picked me up at precisely 7 in the evening. I didn’t know what to wear at first, but Lisa helped out. She seemed too excited for me and let me borrow her blue dress cut to the knees.

He took me to a restaurant named Le Coucou, which gave a minimalistic, elegant ambiance. A few people were around, and it seemed there were couples around that were either married or having an affair since I saw someone hiding a ring before he walked towards a pretty lady waiting for him at the table.

A server led us to the second floor and on the balcony. Once we settled, Louis ordered us a three-course meal. I excused myself after reasoning I had to go to the bathroom.
