Chapter 127. Surrounded by Shifters

“Can someone tell me what these creatures are?” Daniel cried out. This is his first time seeing the true form of shapeshifters. His absence for a long time made him miss out especially when a shifter took on his appearance.

“They are shapeshifters!” Mary quickly drew Daniel close to her. “Everyone, are you ready for this?”

“Ready for what?” a voice escaped from behind an almond tree.

They didn’t want to be distracted. They still have their eyes locked on the shifters. Getting off their eyes from the shifters might give the shifters an upper hand to attack them.

Without looking back or trying to know whose voice they heard. “Who are you? Show yourself!” Mary yelled with her eyes still on the shifters that had them surrounded. She has never been surrounded by quite a several shifters. She only encounters one but not as a pack or group of shifters. The first shifter she has ever encountered was the one that took the appearance of Daniel.
