Chapter 126. Hike in Texas

“Don’t kill innocent people!” Daniel cried out.

“No, they are monsters,” Mel replied.

Daniel and Mel are hunting the shifters in a wooded area, a land covered with forest shrubs, including plantations of poplar and other similar trees inside and outside the woods. They both were ahead of Mary, Ruby, and Mike who were trying to catch up with them.

When Daniel regained consciousness after the exorcism of the Devil, Mel met with him convincing him to talk to Mary about helping Texas. ‘Shifters have taken over Texas and I need the help of Mary,’ she told him.

It was a hard call for Daniel to make. He just got back and needed some time with Mary to make up for the lost time. At first, he didn’t want to talk to Mary about it but when Mel and Ruby continued with their persuasion, he finally gave in.
