It was my birthday. No, the day hadn’t just begun. It was about to end, and not a single soul, not one person, not even my boyfriend, had wished me a happy birthday. No one on my socials knew when my birthday was, and had never bothered to ask, which I was thankful for; the reason being that I never wanted to celebrate it because it served as a reminder that I had murdered someone on that same day.
However, it didn’t mean that I didn’t want the closest people to at least, wish me a happy birthday.
