POV: Harmony Winters

Over the last few days, I had been buried deep in thoughts because of the conversation I had overheard Nathan and Rhys having. I didn’t know how to feel about the whole thing, and inasmuch as I tried to not think about it, the thought crept into my mind every blessed minute of the day.

I really wanted to pretend that I hadn’t heard that, and I also wanted to act like Rhys was the same person I knew, but the thought constantly dwelled on my mind that he was a murderer, and it didn’t help that I was also one. It didn’t make sense for two criminals to be in a relationship, and I had been coming up with ways whereby I could tell Rhys that I was no longer interested in being in a relationship with him, but I liked him so much, and I didn’t think I could ever bring myself to do something like that.
