Chapter 37
POV: Rhys Anderson
Nathan and I had sighted a guy wearing a black t-shirt and a black pair of jeans, with a blue face cap, but as we chased after him, he took a certain turn, but when we took that turn, we couldn’t find anyone there. I had told Nathan to go towards the left, while I searched for the guy by my right, but he was nowhere to be found.
Nathan and I met each other again for about the fourth time as we had just been running around in circles. Nathan bent and placed his hands on his knees, panting heavily, and I just stood still, catching my breath.
“Honestly, the dude should be long gone by now. I think he outsmarted us,” Nathan said.
I nodded my head, agreeing with what he had said. “You’re right to think that way. He purposely followed this way and made us look like fools,” I said.
“If we hadn’t caught sight of him, I wouldn’t have believed that there was truly someone watching Harmony like she had claimed,” he said.
