Chapter 51
POV: Rhys Anderson
I was done with ironing my clothes, and I folded them neatly before arranging them into my suitcase. There were still some clothes I had which were unwashed, but I had a few days left in Texas to wash them with the washing machine, iron them and pack them all up in another suitcase. I still needed to sun-dry my shoes before also packing them, but that was a chore for another day.
Six days... I had six more days till I said goodbye to Texas, and probably never returned till the new person who was coming to take my place had succeeded in getting enough evidence to take Harmony down. I wished whoever it was luck, and I felt grateful for having that burden taken off my back.
When Mr Sovanna had announced the previous day that he was going to take me off the job in a week’s time if I failed to finish up with what I was meant to do, I had been perplexed for a while, but I later reasoned that it was a blessing for me. I was able to get out of the dilemm
