POV: Harmony Winters

Today had been a lazy day for me and all I had done was just eat cookies, drink coffee and check out some romance novels online. That was all I could do when I was feeling bored and had no work to do. I loved reading novels, especially the ones with a romance genre as a pastime because they were a way to escape reality, and pretend to yourself just for a little while that your life could be as perfect as the lives of the lead characters.

Immediately I heard the footsteps, I looked up from my iPad where I had been reading a book online, and I saw that it was Kaitlyn who had walked through the door.

“Hey. What are you doing here?” I asked in a friendly manner.

“Nathaniel sent me some homemade food, and I figured that I should share it with you since you’ve had only cookies all through the day,” Kaitlyn said.
