I was elated at the news which had been going on around town. Harmony hadn’t been found guilty of murder and the court had discharged and acquitted her of all charges. I had thought that she might need to pay a fine even if she was acquitted, but she had been dismissed without any need for a fine at all.
The tables had turned around in her favour, and I couldn’t help but smile broadly as my heart sang with unbridled joy, full of thanks to the creator and grateful that life had finally smiled on us. I was alive, Harmony was free. What more could I possibly ask for? It seemed like a dream, and I was glad that we finally got to win the fight.
