POV: Harmony Winters
If not for anything, I was thankful that Rhys was alive and the guilt I had when he was in coma had slowly began to leave me. I was glad that his life had not been exchanged in place of mine, I was glad that I had finally been able to tell him how much I loved him, I was glad that Mr Sovanna was behind bars where he belonged.
Our story was gradually coming to an end, and I, the protagonist was still in a dilemma as to how it will all end. Today was the final day of my case which had been adjourned; exactly a week after Rhys had woken up from his deep slumber of one month and although my lawyer and the entire family assured me that everything was going to be fine, I still wasn’t so sure about it.
“All rise!” the bailiff said as the judge made his way into the courtroom.
