Chapter 10
Katy’s POV
As my name left his lips, my legs went even more weak. Everything felt surreal to me. I felt like I was in some kind of dream world. But I soon realized I was indeed in the real world when the stranger walked up to us.
“I don’t have time to waste. Where is she?”
A light chuckle resonated from Michelle’s lips. “Mr. Stone, don’t you recognize your own wife?” The sarcasm was dripping from her voice. How I wished at that moment the ground would swallow me whole because, truth be told, I was terrified. Curiosity graced his face as his eyes immediately landed on me.
“We need a private place to talk,” he ordered, his eyes not leaving mine.
