Katy’s POV

Warmth was the only thing I was feeling inside my body. My body immediately went weak as I stared at the woman in front of me. “Are you listening to me, Katy?” she asked, snapping me instantly out of my reverie. Was I not dreaming? Or did I hear her wrong?

“You… called my… husband?” I tried to remain calm as I spoke, but the weakness I felt made it difficult. I didn’t even once think that she would call him so soon.

“Yes, dear. We want to make sure nothing will go wrong. By the way, why didn’t you tell me it was the hot guy?”
