Chapter 52. Affection (2)
Stomach rumbling, Heyon woke slowly. His brow furrowed as his tongue flicked over slightly parched lips. His nose sniffed with desire. When his eyes opened, his irises were crimson.
He felt the rushes appear and realized he was alone in the room.
“Saejinie?” he called, yawning right after.
The room was large, but when he realized that not even the scent of the vampire was in the air, it was more than obvious that he was alone.
He felt his stomach growl again and decided to get up. Everyone was probably already awake, so he went down the stairs, feeling the smell of blood intensify even more.
“Well, well, little vampire, good morning.” Hugo wished. Heyon looked at him and made the Witcher give a small squeak when he saw his fangs so thirsty out. “Please, don’t kill me!” The man asked, clasping his hands in supplication.
