Tangled Hearts: Chapter 26

Ryan got home later at night, his bones were tired and he needed a long rest but he was happy, a matching liver has been found for Simon and it was all thanks to Sasha who just had to make a few phone calls. Monica has been asking to meet her to say thank you but he didn’t think it was a good idea at the moment; he needed to give Sasha space to forget the sight she first saw her in.

He unbuttoned his collar, fetching out his phone from his pocket to call Isabella, hoping he wouldn’t be disturbing her sleep when he perceived an aroma coming from the kitchen. He furrowed his brows and made his way to the kitchen just as he heard a clanking sound coming from inside, “hello?” he asked, “who is there?”

“Oh, you are back,” Isabella said from the kitchen and smiled when she saw him.

“What the heck are you doing here?” Ryan asked, shocked to see her, his phone still in his hand as he wanted to dial her number.

Isabella chuckled and removed her apron, “surprised?”
