Tangled Hearts: Chapter 32

Isabella sighed and turned to admire the moon once more. Chris watched her secretly and a soft smile spread across his lips. When she turned to him, he quickly averted his gaze, pretending to be watching the moon as well when in fact, all his attention was on her.

Isabella bit her lower lip as her heart was thumping loud about what she wants to ask him, she doesn’t know if Charlotte was telling the truth and even if she were, why did she had to tell her? They are not close and definitely not friends, so why? The more she thought about it, the more restless she became and she really wants to know what happened.

She had called Charlotte throughout the week but she never answered and somehow, she had thought she would be coming with Chris to the party, after all, what better time to introduce her to the family right?

“What’s eating you up?” she heard and glanced up at the man with her, his crystal blue eyes burned in her and she quickly looked away.
