Book 2: Chapter 34

Sasha opened her eyes because of the sunlight on her face. The light blinded her eyes, and she blinked for some moments to regain her vision, only to see a man sitting near the window. She creased her brows and wondered when was the last time she woke up to see a man in her room.

“Good morning,” she heard this deep magnetic voice, and her heart fluttered. Did she just receive a morning greeting?

She peered at the man sitting, and her heart palpitated. Ever since she had married him, apart from the morning after the night with endless pleasure, she has never woken up to see him in the room. He would either be in the shower or be gone already, so why is he still here?

“You are not the morning type,” he chuckled. “I have always known that, actually, but never knew you wake so late.” He wheeled himself closer to the bed, only for her to see he was already dressed for work. She looked at his face to see him biting his lower l
