Book 2: Chapter 33
Michael sat in his wheelchair in the living room, his eyes constantly looking at the time. It was already 10:25, and Sasha was not yet back. He was getting worried, and to make it worse, he didn’t even know where she was—not that he couldn’t find out if he wanted to, but that he didn’t want to. No more stalking her.
He wanted to try to not know ahead of time anymore. He would only know where she was if she told him and would only have people look for her if he felt something was wrong. He looked at the dining table at the already cold food and sighed.
Gary had brought the dinner almost four hours ago, but he refused to eat. He was prepared to wait for her and would only eat when he was sure she had eaten.
Gary walked up to him again. “Boss, don’t you think you should eat? Even if it’s a bite, it has already passed the time for your medicine.”
“No, I will wait for her.”
