Alana's POV
I've been talking to Noah about Jack and what's going on between us. I had to bring Noah up to speed with my life and the situation I'm in. I haven't told him that I have feelings for my ex-fiancé; I've only told him that there have been moments of trust between Jack and me, moments where we've let our true selves out. I confessed to Noah that being with Jack during these days has helped me get to know myself better, and as crazy as it may sound to me, Jack is a fundamental part of my life. I thought Noah would understand it all, and at first, when his expression turned serious and his eyes narrowed a bit, I thought he would tell me I've lost my mind, but he didn't. He just listened and told me that Jack seemed like the quiet type but knew how to get involved in others' lives. I didn't take it as a negative comment; I think it was his way of agreeing with me.
