Taylor’s POV

Emotions overwhelmed me as I hastily made my way through the hospital corridors, desperately seeking solace and a moment to collect myself. The weight of the conversation with Michael’s mother had left me raw and vulnerable, and I needed a respite from the pain that threatened to engulf me.
