Taylor’s POV

After days of rest and recovery, the time had finally come for me to be discharged from the hospital. The doctors and nurses had taken exceptional care of me, ensuring that I was well enough to resume my duties at the hospital. As I sat on the edge of the bed, I felt a mix of anticipation and gratitude.

Yumi was there with me, her excitement palpable. “Finally, you’re getting out of here! I’ve missed having you around, Taylor.”

I smiled at her, appreciating her unwavering support throughout my stay. “I’ve missed being at work too, Yumi. It’s time to get back to making a difference.”

As we gathered my belongings and prepared to leave, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of renewal. The accident had been a turning point, a stark reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of embracing every moment. I was determined to seize the opportunity to not only heal physically but also emotionally.
